Whichever console arrangement you choose for your profisher, you will find the console sturdy and functional. There is room to mount your sounder and GPS, together with enough space for a few instruments and gauges.
The boat is light enough to tow to wherever the fish are biting. The shallow draft means easy beach launching and retrieval, and the vessel is also suited to estuary and inshore work.
The floor of this trailer boat is nice and flat, with no exposed chines and since it is a walk around you can follow a fish with ease. It also allows you to get to the bow or stern in a hurry when necessary for anchoring, mooring or moving location with minimal fuss.
Combine these features with sides that are nice and high, enables the angler to confidently lean up against them when fighting a hard fish.
The profisher is designed to be built in marine grade aluminium, with an overall length of 5.5 metres and a beam of 2.3 metres. It is also designed to fit into the average families’ driveway.
Don’t be fooled by its size though, as the profisher has deck space suitable to carry up to five persons in protected waters, along with all your fishing equipment or to tow the kids’ toys.
If you are in the market for something a little more individual, customisation options could include:
- Foldable Bimini cover for protection from the elements
- Welded rod holders
- Live bait tank
- Tackle trays
- Anchor well
- Dry storage locker
- Navigation lights
- Converting the vessel into a bow rider
