11m Sports Cruiser
The hull design provides a smooth ride from the deep forefoot, but is balanced with moderate draft though the use of a reverse chine arrangement. The sports cruiser’s helm station provides excellent forward views. Whilst the ergonomically designed helm station, will ensure that you arrive at your destination fresh and comfortable.
The cockpit provides ample space for fishing, with a large open deck space and plenty of room for reeling in fish. Equipped with sink and ice box, and space for bait preparation this sports cruiser could be further equipped for the serious fisherman, with the inclusion of live bait and kill tanks, and outrigger poles enabling multi line trolling.
Safety and security are paramount in the sports cruiser design, with the high bulwarks providing protection in large offshore swells.
The booth seating offers a beautiful vantage point to enjoy transits to the fishing grounds or to while away the evening hours. Furthermore, lowering the table and inserting infill cushions creates a useful extra bunk.
The accommodation below the sports cruiser deck includes a full sized queen bed, and a further three single bunks. This with the ability to convert the table for additional sleeping, gives the cruiser the perfect arrangement for the boating family, or the ability to avoid sharing with your mates, when at sea fishing.
The vessel is equipped with two 750 litre fuel tanks, housed in separate fuel cofferdams to eliminate fuel or fumes escaping into the bilge, in the unlikely event of a fuel spillage. The inclusion of twin Suzuki 300 hp outboards motors combined with shallow draft, allows access to bays, with the added security that when you travel offshore that you have two motors to ensure you get home. Travel effortlessly out to reefs and know you can get home safely when the weather starts to turn. The slender, easily driven hull provides peace of mind when far away from shore.
With an overall length of 11.5 metres and a beam of 3.5m the sports cruiser can be trailered during daylight hours. Combine this with a good tow vehicle and endless fishing and boating opportunities become available. Even better there is no need for a marina berth as the boat can be stored out of the water.
With few modifications this sports cruiser design could also provide a very good base for patrol or rescue work, as the roomy seaworthy hull lends itself to all manner of tasks.
NMS are always happy to customise any of our vessel designs, for your own needs and requirements. Be it fishing, cruising or commercial work.
