Designing vessels under 12m that can go into commercial survey has historically been a challenge. Under the NSCV code these challenges are just as great.
As marine vessel designers, stability has always been the biggest hurdle to overcome for smaller commercial monohulls.
Naval Architecture and Marine Solutions (NMS) have taken on this challenge with the development of our new hullform for small commercial vessels. Designed to maximise the waterplane inertia, whilst still maintain a generous deadrise angle, these vessels are aimed at producing a comfortable ride whilst still meeting the commercial stability requirements.
